TY "Finding Purpose Through Play"
From a young age, sports were a defining part of my life. I spent my childhood on the field, always chasing the next game, whether it was football, baseball, or soccer. I thrived on competition, strategy, and the challenge of pushing myself to get better. I also had a love for paddle sports—playing ping pong for hours with friends and picking up tennis at the local club whenever I could. Being active wasn’t just something I did; it was part of who I was.
But as life got busier, I slowly drifted away from sports. Work, responsibilities, and the everyday grind took over, and before I knew it, staying active had taken a back seat. That all changed during COVID when some buddies invited me to play pickleball. I figured I’d give it a shot, not expecting much. But from the first game, I was hooked. The fast-paced action, the strategy, and the energy of the sport reignited something in me. I fell in love not only with the game itself but with the feeling of being active again.
As I learned more about pickleball, I realized that to truly excel, I needed to understand every aspect of the sport—the mechanics, the strategy, and the mindset needed to stay at the top of my game. That pursuit of knowledge and passion for growth led me to co-found a pickleball business with a bigger vision in mind. Pickleball Reinvented. People Reinvented. Our mission is not just to revolutionize the sport, but to use it as a tool for positive change.
Beyond competition, I’ve always had a deep passion for helping others, especially those facing difficult circumstances. Addiction has impacted many members of my family, and I’ve seen firsthand the struggles that come with it. That’s why partnering with addiction recovery centers became such an important part of our business. We believe that just like pickleball can reinvent the way people play, it can also be a vehicle for reinventing lives—helping people rebuild, find community, and move forward.
For me, pickleball is more than just a game—it’s a way to bring people together, push personal limits, and create something bigger than myself. Whether through competition, business, or service, my goal is to make an impact—one game, one person, and one reinvention at a time.
